Our team brings more than two decades of expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression engineering design. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions on every project, maintaining a consistent standard of excellence. In addition to offering comprehensive MEP+FS engineering services, we can recommend trusted partners for architectural, civil, and structural engineering needs. While we frequently collaborate directly with owners and architects, we are also equipped to support design-build projects.

We've worked on a broad swath of space usage types including, but not limited to: hospitality (coffee shops, bars, restaurants), healthcare, multi-family residences, performing arts theatres, places of worship, schools, laboratories, commercial retail, office, as well as forensic investigation as it relates to moisture mitigation.

Mr. Coates received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Orleans in 2008. Out of school he worked under the mentorship of Mr. Isaac Schantz, PE - at Schantz Engineering LLC. After four years of mentorship, Mr. Coates recieved his license as a professional engineer and became partner of Schantz Engineering. After 4 additional years with the firm, he decided to venture off and create his own firm.

With over 18 years experience. He believes engineering design can be an art, as well as a science. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, he truly appreciates the city's unique culture, and climate.

As Chief Engineer, Mr. Coates, has experience in the design and implementation of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression systems for buildings of many different use-types. He strives to design systems that create the ideal indoor environment for occupants to thrive.

With a background in electrical engineering, Mr. Dessauer earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Orleans in 2004/2005. While studying, Mr. Dessauer interned at Ion Geophysical and transitioned to a full-time role after graduation - where he worked for over 20 years and developed extensive expertise in technical documentation associated with the use/operation of underwater electronic systems used to explore the ocean floor for oil.

Following the COVID pandemic, Mr. Dessauer sought a new professional direction and joined JMC PE LLC as BIM Manager. Known for meticulous attention to detail and a naturally inquisitive mindset, Mr. Dessauer has become a vital contributor to the team and the ongoing growth of the firm.
